Concert Re-scheduled for Sherbrooke Village
Poor weather and road conditions put a damper on closing day activities at Old Fashioned Christmas in Sherbrooke Village on Sunday, Dec. 7, forcing the postponement of a concert finale by singer John Gracie.
The concert has been re-scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. People holding tickets for the Dec. 7 event will be given refunds or tickets for the Dec. 19 concert. Tickets for the rescheduled concert are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
Seasonal music in the courthouse continues Saturday, Dec. 13, at 7:30 p.m. with a return visit by the MacLean Sisters, with special guest RyLee Madison. Also on the Christmas schedule is a concert on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. by Celtic harpists Ardyth & Jennifer. Tickets for each of these events are $12.
While final attendance figures are not yet available it appears overall numbers will be on a par with last year's record numbers. On Saturday the craft show, Victorian tea, house tours and dinner dance all posted record attendance numbers. Final figures will be released within the next week.
