N.S. SECURITIES COMMISSION--Securities Commission Issues Cease Trade Order

The Nova Scotia Securities Commission issued a temporary cease trade order for Bermudacan Connect Incorporated and Can+Ber Communications Inc., on Wednesday, Dec. 3.

The order applies to all trading, whether direct or indirect, by each of the corporate respondents (Bermudacan Connect Incorporated and Can+Ber Communications Inc.) and the respondents (Bruce Douglas Hatfield, Keith Towse and George Anthis) who are named. It prohibits them from trading securities of the company.

The order was issued as a result of trading in the securities of Bermudacan Connect Incorporated and Can+Ber Communications Inc. without registration and without having filed and obtained receipts for a prospectus, as required by the Nova Scotia Securities Act. The order will remain in effect until a hearing is held on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
