LUNENBURG COUNTY: Rissers Bridge
From Monday, Nov. 24, to Friday, Nov. 28, the Rissers Bridge on Veinot Road will be closed daily for repairs between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The bridge will be re-opened to traffic after 4:30 p.m.
During the day, a detour is available via Trunk 10, Wentzell Road and Lower Branch Road.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Luther McNutt Bridge
Luther McNutt Bridge on Truro Road is closed, except to local traffic, until Monday, Dec. 15, for bridge structure removal and replacement. Traffic control consists of detour signage.

DIGBY COUNTY: Meteghan River Bridge
Meteghan River Bridge on Trunk 1 is closed until Sunday, Nov. 30. If travelling from Yarmouth towards Saulnierville on Trunk 1, a detour is available on Maxwellton Road, to Second Division Road, to Placide Comeau Road and back to Trunk 1.
If travelling from Halifax or Digby towards Meteghan River, a detour is available on the Placide Comeau Road, to Second Division Road, to Maxwellton Road and back to Trunk 1.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103
Blasting will take place on Highway 103, at exits 3 and 4, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until September 2004. Both eastbound and westbound motorists may experience short delays. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111 Dartmouth
Portland Street, Highway 111/118, MicMac Parclo and Exit 5, from MicMac to the Woodland exit, will have partial lane closures for highway ramp light repairs until Saturday, Nov. 29. Traffic control consists of an arrow board. Work takes place from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The Highway 102/Lacewood Drive (Exit 2A) interchange has a one- lane closure for repairs to traffic signals, curbs, gutters and sidewalks until Saturday, Nov. 29. Traffic control consists of signage. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Elmsdale Bridge
Elmsdale Bridge on Trunk 2 between Elmsdale and Lantz is closed until June 2004. A detour is available around the bridge. Traffic control consists of a detour sign.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101, from Mount Uniacke to the Stillwater overpass, is now open. Work will continue in isolated areas. The speed limit is 100 km/h. Motorists may occasionally experience some minor traffic delays in areas where traffic has been reduced from two lanes to one.

Little River Bridge at Mill Creek near Port Hood is closed until Saturday, Nov. 29 for replacement of bridge and approaches. A detour is available. Traffic control consists of traffic lights.

Reeves Street in Port Hawkesbury has a one-lane closure for paving until Monday, Nov 24. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

Sandy Gillis Bridge in Judique is closed until Saturday, Nov. 29 for bridge replacement and repair to approaches. A detour is available on a temporary bridge. Traffic control consists of signage. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19
Crews are surface paving and ditching about four kilometres of Trunk 19, from River Denys Mountain Road northerly. One lane will be closed. The work is expected to be completed by Saturday, Nov. 29. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle and flag staff. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Black Brook Bridge on Minto Road is closed for removal and replacement of the bridge structure until Monday, Dec. 1. Detour signage is available.

Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.
