Report Released on Financial Reporting

Nova Scotia's auditor general, Roy Salmon, tabled a report today, Nov. 14, on the province's consolidated financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2003, and other financial reporting practices.

The report contains a letter sent to the president and members of the Executive Council in regards to their responsibility for government's financial reporting processes. The auditor general also provided comments on and recommendations to improve government's financial reporting practices.
