Luther McNutt Bridge on Truro Road is closed for bridge structure removal and replacement until Monday, Dec. 15.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 311
Route 311, for 5.3 kilometres from Onslow Road to the Stewarts Bridge, has intermittent one-lane closures to facilitate ditching, culvert work and repaving until Friday, Oct. 31.

DIGBY COUNTY: Meteghan River Bridge
Meteghan River Bridge on Trunk 1 is closed until Sunday, Nov. 30. If travelling from Yarmouth towards Saulnierville on Trunk 1, a detour is available on Maxwellton Road, to Second Division Road, to Placide Comeau Road and back to Trunk 1.
If travelling from Halifax or Digby towards Meteghan River, a detour is available on the Placide Comeau Road, to Second Division Road, to Maxwellton Road and back to Trunk 1.

Trunk 16, from Peas Brook to Halfway Cove Bridge, about 3.6 kilometres, has intermittent lane closures until Friday, Oct. 31.

Blasting will take place on Highway 103, at exits 3 and 4, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until September 2004.

Whites Lake Brook Bridge on Route 333 is undergoing concrete repair work and rail replacement until Sunday, Oct. 26. Traffic control consists of barriers along the north edge. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Elmsdale Bridge on Trunk 2, between Elmsdale and Lantz, is closed until June 2004. A detour is available around the bridge. Traffic control consists of a detour sign.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101
Highway 101, from Mount Uniacke to the Stillwater overpass, is now open. Work will continue in isolated areas. The speed limit is returned to 100 km/hr. Once motorist pass the Stillwater Overpass, the speed limit will remain at the reduced rate of 80 km/hr.
Motorists may occasionally experience some minor traffic delays in areas where traffic has been reduced from two lanes to one.

Crews are surface paving and ditching about four kilometres of Trunk 19, from River Denys Mountain Road northerly. One lane will be closed. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 31. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle and flag staff. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Barkhouse Bridge
Barkhouse Bridge on Trunk 3, about 0.4 kilometres from the Crandel Road intersection has a one-lane closure for repairs until Friday, Oct. 31.
Traffic control consists of traffic control signs which are posted at exits 9 and 10 on Highway 103 and Trunk 3. Vehicles wider than 3.1 metres should use Highway 103 as a detour. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

Big Gut Bridge, Route 348, on Pictou Landing Road is closed for replacement until Monday, Oct. 27.

Medway River Bridge on Highway 103, about 100 metres east of the intersection with the Medway River Road (Exit 17A), has a one- lane closure for repairs until Monday, Oct. 27. Traffic control consists of traffic signals. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Trunk 4
About 7.6 kilometres of Trunk 4, from the south side of River Bourgeois Road easterly to Highway 104, will be surface paved, ditched and culverted. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 31. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle and flag persons.
