NSLC Stores Will Not Open Sunday, Oct. 5

Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) stores will not be opened Sunday, Oct. 5. The announcement was made today, Oct. 3, by NSLC acting president Ken Barbet.

"The intent of the government's decision is to allow stores to be open this Sunday to help Nova Scotians who are recovering from the effects of Hurricane Juan, to allow them to replenish necessary supplies including food and equipment rather than to effect a general Sunday store opening," noted Mr. Barbet. "Therefore, the NSLC will not be opening stores this Sunday."
