Human Rights Inquiry to Resume
The board of inquiry considering a complaint of discrimination by the Halifax Regional Police lodged by Kirk Johnson will resume hearings on Monday, Sept. 15, at 9:30 a.m. in the Mosher Room of the Park Place Ramada Plaza Hotel, 240 Brownlow Ave., Dartmouth.
The hearing, being chaired by Philip Girard of Dalhousie Law School, will continue on Sept. 19 and 29 at the hotel.
Boards of inquiry are the final stage in the human rights complaint process. They are independent, public hearings into complaints of discrimination.
