ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Trunk 10 Trunk 10, for eight kilometres between Lunenburg County Line and Ridge Road, has a one-lane closure, alternate sides, for repaving until Friday, Oct. 31. Alternate route is Ridge Road. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle and traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337 Route 337, from 800 metres south of Seabright Road, northerly 3.7 kilometres, has a one-lane closure for repaving until Tuesday, Sept. 30. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104 There will be intermittent periods of east-bound lane closures on Trans-Canada Highway 104, from 300 metres west of the 102 off- ramp to the West North River overpass, for repaving until Sunday, Aug. 31. DIGBY COUNTY: Meteghan River Bridge Meteghan River Bridge on Trunk 1 is closed until further notice. If travelling from Yarmouth towards Saulnierville on Trunk 1, a detour is available on Maxwellton Road, to Second Division Road, to Placide Comeau Road and back to Trunk 1. If travelling from Halifax or Digby towards Meteghan River, a detour is available on the Placide Comeau Road, to Second Division Road, to Maxwellton Road and back to Trunk 1.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Whites Lake Brook Bridge Whites Lake Brook Bridge on Route 333 has concrete repair work and rail replacement until Tuesday, Sept. 30. Traffic control consists of barriers along the north edge. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101, Railroad Overpass The Highway 101 railroad overpass structure near Stillwater is undergoing repairs until Sunday, Aug. 31. Traffic will be stopped during blasting. Also, motorists are advised there will be trucks crossing Highway 101 near the structure for the duration of the work. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. A detour is available on Trunk 1, Exit 3 at Mount Uniacke, to Exit 4 at St. Croix. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101 Highway 101 from Mount Uniacke to Stillwater overpass will be shifting two-way traffic flow from the old lanes to the new lanes until Tuesday, Sept. 30. Speed limit will be reduced to 80 kilometres per hour for the duration of construction. Traffic control consist of traffic control persons and signage. A detour is available on Trunk 1, Exit 3 at Mount Uniacke, to Exit 4 at St. Croix.

HANTS COUNTY: Lower Herbert River Bridge Lower Herbert River Bridge on Ashdale Road, South Rawdon, will be closed for replacement until Tuesday, Sept. 2. A detour will be available through Cross Road 3. The bridge will be closed 24 hours a day.

HANTS COUNTY: Walton Woods Bridge Walton Woods Bridge on Walton Woods Road is closed for repairs until Friday Sept. 5. Traffic control consists of detour signs. A detour is available on Walton Woods Road to Bancroft Road and then to Route 215.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge Crews are working on construction of the new Margaree Harbour Bridge. Motorists using the current bridge should watch for ongoing construction activities in the area. Traffic will be delayed occasionally. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new bridge is expected to be in service by December. The removal of the old bridge is expected to be complete by September 2004.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19 Crews are surface paving and ditching about four kilometres of Trunk 19, from River Denys Mountain Road northerly. One lane will be closed. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 31. A pilot vehicle and flag staff will provide traffic control. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Mill Lake Road Underpass Mill Lake Road Underpass at Exit 6, Hubbards, on Highway 103, will be narrowing lanes to 3.1 metres (10 feet) for repairs until Tuesday, Sept. 30. Traffic control will consist of traffic signals. A detour is required for wide loads (loads wider than 3.1 metres) on exit ramps to detour. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: Carmichael Road Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.

REGION OF QUEENS: Highway 103 Highway 103 has alternating lanes closures for road repairs until Monday, Sept. 15. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle, flashing light unit, barrels and traffic cones. A detour is available on Trunk 3 from Liverpool to Broad River. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

REGION OF QUEENS: Medway River Bridge Medway River Bridge on Highway 103, about 100 metres east of the intersection with the Medway River Road (Exit 17A), will have a one-lane closure for repairs until Tuesday, Sept. 30. Traffic control will consist of traffic signals. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Trunk 4 About 7.6 kilometres of Trunk 4, from the south side of River Bourgeois Road easterly to Highway 104, will be surface paved, ditched and culverted. The work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 31. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Traffic control is with pilot vehicle and flag persons.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge Seal Island Bridge has a one-lane closure for bridge repairs until Wednesday, Oct. 15. Maximum load width at the bridge will be 3.05 metres (10 feet). Traffic control consists of traffic signals. Work takes place 24 hours a day.
