Legislature to Reconvene

The House of Assembly will meet on Thursday, Sept. 4, to elect a new Speaker and deputy Speakers.

Deputy premier Ron Russell confirmed that an all-party agreement was reached to briefly reconvene the legislature. The sitting will be preceded by the official swearing-in of members of the legislative assembly.

The timing of the fall sitting of the legislature will be determined at a later date.
