ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Pomquet Monks Head Road The Pomquet Monks Head Road will be closed to traffic until further notice to allow for emergency replacement of a damaged culvert. Motorists are asked to use Taylor's Road for access into Pomquet from the Trans-Canada Highway.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19 Crews are surface paving and ditching about four kilometres of Trunk 19, from River Denys Mountain Road northerly four kilometres, beginning Monday, Aug. 11. One lane will be closed. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31. A pilot vehicle and flag staff will provide traffic control. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Trunk 4 About 7.6 kilometres of Trunk 4, from the south side of River Bourgeois Road easterly to Highway 104, will be surface paved, ditched and culverted beginning Monday, Aug. 11. The work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31. Work will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Traffic control is with pilot vehicle and flag persons.
