Musical Ride Coming to Sherbrooke

The RCMP Musical Ride is coming to Sherbrooke on Friday, Sept. 12. The Sherbrooke and Area Crime Prevention Association and the St. Mary's Recplex will partner with historic Sherbrooke Village to present the internationally-renowned equestrian event.

The show will take place at 6 p.m. in the centre pasture at Sherbrooke Village, while the St. Mary's Recplex will serve as the stable for the horses, riders and equipment. The stables will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, and from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m on Friday, Sept. 12. This will provide the public with a free opportunity to view the horses and meet members of the ride.

This will be the Musical Ride's only appearance on the eastern mainland of Nova Scotia during their tour of Atlantic Canada.

Guaranteed seating is available through the purchase of reserved tickets. Tickets will sell quickly and only a limited amount of reserved tickets are available. Advance tickets go on sale today, July 28 and will offer purchasers first choice of remaining bleacher seating or prime viewing areas where lawn chairs or blankets may be placed.
