Pathways for People Tour Visits Lunenburg County

HEALTH PROMOTION--Pathways for People Tour Visits Lunenburg County


The Pathways for People Active Transportation Tour will soon be in Lunenburg County to promote active modes of transportation such as walking, biking, skateboarding and in-line skating.

Members of the public are invited to suggest ways Nova Scotians can better support active modes of transportation in their communities. Three public forums will be held.

  • Mahone Bay - Monday, June 9, 7 p.m., Bayview Community School, 110 Clearway St.
  • Chester - Tuesday, June 10, 7 p.m., Wherehouse, 109 Duke St.
  • Bridgewater - Wednesday, June 10, 7 p.m., Parkview Education Centre, 1485 King St.

The Pathways for People Active Transportation Tour is part of Active Community Environments, a component of the Active Kids, Healthy Kids strategy. The tour is a partnership between the Office of Health Promotion, the Ecology Action Centre and Youth for Environmental Action.
