ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Allison Marshall Bridge

Allison Marshall Bridge on Spa Springs Road will be closed for repairs from May 26 to June 4. Traffic control will consist of barricades, flashing light units and signage. A detour will be available on Route 362, Trunk 1 and Victoria Road. Work will take place 24 hours-a-day.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 357

Route 357, from Red's Bridge at Elderbank, northerly toward Middle Musquodoboit, will have a lane closure for paving from May 26 to Aug. 31. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: George Gibbons Bridge

George Gibbons Bridge on Trunk 2, between Stewiacke and Alton is closed for repairs until June 14. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on MacKay Siding, Wittenburg and Cloverdale Road. Work takes place 24 hours-a-day.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Canterbury Truss Bridge

Canterbury Truss Bridge on Bellefontaine Road in Middle Porter's Lake is closed until further notice. A detour is available on Route 207, Trunk 7 and Highway 107.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 333

Route 333, from Indian Point Road southerly to Redmonds Road will have occasional lane closures for repaving until Aug. 31. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Shad Bay Bridge

Shad Bay Bridge, Route 333 is reduced to one lane until May 30 for bridge repairs. Traffic control consists of traffic lights. Work takes place form 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge

Crews are working on construction of the new Margaree Harbour Bridge. Motorists using the current bridge should watch for ongoing construction activities in the area. Traffic will be delayed occasionally. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new bridge should be in service by December 2003. The removal of the old bridge should be completed by September 2004.

PICTOU COUNTY: Carmichael Road

Toney River Bridge on Carmichael Road in Pictou County is closed until June 30. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Popular Hill Road and Meadowville Station Road.

PICTOU COUNTY: Joudrey Road

Joudrey Road is closed, except to local traffic, for culvert repairs, until further notice. A detour is available from Louisville Road to Route 6. Work takes place 24 hours-a-day.

PICTOU COUNTY: Waterside Bridge

Waterside Bridge on Shore Road is closed to vehicles weighing more than five tonnes. The bridge will be closed to all vehicles from May 26 to May 30, for repairs. A detour is available on Otter Road and R. Grant Road. Traffic control consists of signage. Work takes place 24 hours-a-day.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge

Seal Island Bridge has a one lane-closure for bridge repairs until Oct. 15. Maximum load width at the bridge will be 3.05 meters (10 feet). Traffic control consists of traffic signals. Work takes place 24 hours-a-day.
