Road Work to Begin on Trunk 3
Local drivers will benefit from new pavement on Trunk 3 in Lunenburg County.
About 4.2 kilometres of Trunk 3 will be repaved this summer at a cost of about $760,000.
"Our roads need work, and we're making sure they get the work they need," said Michael Baker, Minister of Transportation and Public Works. "This government made a commitment to our road and bridge infrastructure, and we're meeting that commitment."
The work will take place east of Simms Settlement towards Exit 6.
Dexter Construction Co. Ltd. was awarded the tender to complete the work.
The repaving is to be completed by Aug. 31.
