TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Spring Weight Restrictions to be Lifted

Spring weight restrictions will be lifted on all provincial roads at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, May 5.

Restrictions have already been lifted on roads in Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby counties.

Restrictions for trucks are announced each year during the spring thaw period to help protect roads that are weakened by wet weather.
