TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Spring Weight Restrictions Lifted in Three Counties

The province is continuing to lift spring weight restrictions on roads in Nova Scotia.

As of 12:01 a.m. on Monday, April 28, spring weight restrictions will be removed on roads in Yarmouth, Shelburne and Digby counties.

Restrictions for trucks are announced each year during the spring thaw period to help protect roads that are weakened by wet, mild weather.
