Easter Message from Premier John Hamm

Easter is a time for reflection and gratitude.

Today, with much uncertainty in the world, it's good to remind ourselves that we have much to be thankful for.

We live in a peaceful, free society where people of all races, backgrounds, religions and languages live side by side. Our province is growing stronger and everyday we are seeing new opportunities appear. We are healthy and we are safe.

In every region of our province we find families giving freely of their time to build stronger communities, be it through faith, charity, or other forms of leadership. It is this spirit of compassion that makes our province special and it is something that all Nova Scotians can be proud of.

We are fortunate to live in the best province, in the best country, in the world. I hope that you and your loved ones enjoy this holiday.
