NEW WORK

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111/118 Lakeview

Highway 111 at the Highway 118 interchange will have various lane closures from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1 for repair of highway lights. The closures will affect Highway 111 inbound at the Woodland Avenue off ramp, Highway 111 outbound at the Woodland Avenue off ramp and Highway 118 outbound at Highway 111 Woodland Avenue on ramp. Traffic control will consist of arrow boards and detour signs.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Commercial Street Bridge

Commercial Street Bridge in Glace Bay is reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until March 29. A detour will be available on Brookside, Park and Catherine streets. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Canterbury Truss Bridge

Canterbury Truss Bridge on Bellefontaine Road in Middle Porter's Lake is closed until further notice. A detour is available on Route 207, Trunk 7 and Highway 107.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge

Crews are working this spring on construction of the new Margaree Harbour Bridge. Motorists using the current bridge should watch for ongoing construction activities in the area. Traffic will be delayed occasionally. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new bridge should be in service by December 2003. The removal of the old bridge should be completed by September 2004.

PICTOU COUNTY: Joudrey Road

The Joudrey Road is closed, except to local traffic, for culvert repairs until further notice. A detour is available from Louisville Road to Route 6. Work takes place 24 hours a day.
