Opening of the Legislative Assembly

The second session of the 58th General Assembly of the Nova Scotia legislature will be prorogued at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 27.

The third session of the 58th General Assembly will officially open at 2 p.m. on the same day, at which time Lt.-Gov. Myra Freeman will read the speech from the throne.

Speaker Murray Scott issued the notice to members of the Legislative Assembly today, Feb. 24.
