HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Dartmouth

Motorists are advised that work is being carried out on the Portland Street Interchange at Highway 111 for traffic light repairs on Tuesday, Jan. 28. There will be no lane closures. Traffic control will consist of signage. Work takes place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Miller Lake Interchange

Miller Lake Interchange on Highway 102, Junction 118 at Exit 4, will have a partial lane closure for highway light repairs on Thursday, Jan. 30. Traffic control will consist of arrow boards. Work takes place from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.

CONTINUING WORK

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Commercial Street Bridge

Commerical Street Bridge in Glace Bay is reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until Feb. 28.

A detour will be available on Brookside Street, Park Street and Catherine Street. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Kavnaugh Mill Bridge

Kavnaugh Mill Bridge on the Kavnaugh Mill Road will be closed until further notice. Traffic control consists of signage. Motorists are asked to find an alternate route.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Canterbury Truss Bridge

Canterbury Truss Bridge on Bellefontaine Road in Middle Porter's Lake is closed until further notice. A detour is available on Route 207, Trunk 7 and Highway 107.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge

Crews are working this winter on construction of the new Margaree Harbour Bridge. Motorists using the current bridge should watch for ongoing construction activities in the area. Traffic will be delayed occasionally. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new bridge should be in service by December 2003. The removal of the old bridge should be completed by September 2004.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Petite Riviere Bridge

Petite Riviere Bridge, Route 331, will be closed for structural replacement and repairs until March 2003. Detour is available by taking Wentzell or Petite Riviere roads.

PICTOU COUNTY: Joudrey Road

The Joudrey Road is closed, except to local traffic, until further notice for culvert repairs. A detour route is available on Louisville Road to Route 6. Work takes place 24 hours-a-day.
