SNOW Line Available to TTY Callers

Deaf or hard of hearing callers who use a TTY telephone are able to access provincial road condition reports by dialing 426-7554 in Halifax, or toll-free 1-866-297-7544.

The road reports are also available on-line at www.gov.ns.ca/tran .

This phone line for TTY users is an environmental emergency hotline service developed by Emergency Measures Organization and the RCMP in conjunction with Deafness Advocacy Association. The service is staffed 24 hours per day, seven days a week by trained call takers.

For non-TTY users, provincial road reports are available by calling 1-800-307-SNOW (7669), or 424-3933 in Halifax.
