Rice Mill Bridge on the Upper River Road in Bear River is closed for repairs until Nov. 29. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Upper River Road or River Road.

ANTIGONISH/GUYSBOROUGH/INVERNESS: Trans-Canada Highway 104
Trans-Canada Highway 104, from Trunk 4 at Auld's Cove to the Canso Causeway, is reduced to one lane for repairs weekdays until Nov. 29. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Motorists may encounter delays of up to 30 minutes and can call the toll-free Highway Information line at 1- 866-720-2800 for expected delays. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Folly River Bridge
Folly River Bridge on Trunk 4 is undergoing deck replacement. Lane closures are in effect between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily and weekends as required. Vehicles exceeding the maximum load width of 3.5 meters must use exits 11 and 12. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 30.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Kavnaugh Mill Bridge
Kavnaugh Mill Bridge on the Kavnaugh Mill Road will be closed until further notice. Traffic control consist of signage. Motorists are asked to find an alternative route.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Brookside Road
Brookside Road, between Trans-Canada Highway 104 and Mountain Lee Road, is reduced to one lane for pulverization, gravelling and repaving. Traffic control consists of signs, flashing lights and traffic control persons. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Nov. 29.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Bruce Brook Bridge
Bruce Brook Bridge on Route 224 has a one-lane closure until Dec. 15 for repairs. Traffic control consists of traffic lights. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Canterbury Truss Bridge
Canterbury Truss Bridge on Bellefontaine Road in Middle Porters Lake is closed until further notice. A detour is available on Route 207, Trunk 7 and Highway 107.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Shad Bay Bridge
Shad Bay Bridge on Route 333 has a one-lane closure for repairs until Nov. 29. Traffic control consists of traffic lights. One lane is open to traffic 24 hours a day.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Shubenacadie River CNR Overpass Structure
The Shubenacadie River CNR overpass structure on Highway 102 at Enfield will have a one-lane closure until Nov. 30 for guardrail replacement. Work takes place from 7 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Ryans Creek Bridge
The Ryans Creek Bridge on Mosher Road in Admiral Rock is closed for repairs until Dec. 6. Traffic control consists of signage. A detour is available on Route 215, Cross Road, New Dublin, and the Mosher Road. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge
Crews are working this fall and winter on construction of the new Margaree Harbour Bridge. Motorists using the current bridge should watch for ongoing construction activities in the area. Traffic will be delayed occasionally. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The new bridge should be in service by December 2003. The removal of the old bridge should be completed by September 2004.

PICTOU COUNTY: Joudrey Road
Joudrey Road is closed, except to local traffic, for culvert repairs until Nov. 29. A detour is available on Louisville Road and Route 6. Work takes place 24 hours a day.
