Premier Accepts Challenge from Saskatchewan

Premier John Hamm has accepted a challenge from Premier Lorne Calvert of Saskatchewan regarding the outcome of the Vanier Cup to be held Saturday, Nov. 23.

The Vanier Cup will see the Saint Mary's Huskies, defending Canadian Interuniversity Sport champions, meet the Saskatchewan Huskies.

Should the Saint Mary's Huskies win the Vanier Cup, Premier Hamm will receive a saskatoon berry pie from Premier Calvert.

Should the Saskatchewan Huskies win, Premier Hamm will send Premier Calvert a Nova Scotia lobster.

The Vanier Cup, which will be held at the Skydome in Toronto, is Canadian Interuniversity Sport's national football championship game.
