Margaree Harbour Bridge Reopens

The Margaree Harbour Bridge in Inverness County reopened to traffic on Wednesday, Oct. 30. Minor repairs to the pedestrian walkway and railing took longer than expected, because of high winds over the past few days.

On Oct. 23 the structure was hit by the boom of a construction crane that was working on a replacement bridge nearby. No one was injured.

The Department of Transportation and Public Works thanks motorists for their patience and for paying close attention to safety directions and detour signs.
