Premier Pays Tribute to the Casket

Premier John Hamm paid tribute to the Casket today, Oct. 11, on the occasion of its 150th anniversary.

"Since 1852, the Casket has served as an institution for the people of Antigonish, here at home and around the world," said Premier Hamm. "On behalf of all Nova Scotians, I congratulate everybody who has contributed to making this community newspaper such a grand success."

The premier added his hope that the Casket will continue to grow and bring the news of Antigonish to its devoted readers.
