Thanksgiving Day Weekend Hours

All Nova Scotia liquor stores will be open until 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12. Stores normally open after 9 p.m. will maintain their regular hours.

Two drive-through locations, at Bridge Plaza in Dartmouth and on Welton Street in Sydney, will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

All other liquor stores are closed on Thanksgiving Day.

"As a convenience to shoppers, we are providing as many hours of service as we can around the Thanksgiving holiday weekend," said John Strickey, vice-president of Merchandising and Marketing, Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation.

The corporation reminds customers to drink responsibly over the holiday weekend and to not drive if they drink.
