Ryans Creek Bridge on the Mosher Road in Admiral Rock will be undergoing bridge repairs from Oct. 7 until Oct. 18. Traffic control will consist of control persons and signage. Motorist can expect long delays. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Weir Bridge on the South Rawdon Road will be undergoing bridge deck repairs from Oct. 7 until Oct. 11. Traffic control will consist of control persons and signage. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Tufts Hollow Bridge
Tufts Hollow Bridge on Bridge Street, Kingston, between Trunk 1 and Ward Road, will be undergoing bridge deck repairs from Oct. 7 until Oct. 31. Traffic will be reduced to one lane for the duration. Traffic control will be provided by temporary traffic signals.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104
Trans-Canada Highway 104, from the Pictou/Antigonish county line easterly 5.1 kilometers toward Antigonish, will be reduced to one lane for road repairs until Oct. 31. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

ANTIGONISH/GUYSBOROUGH/INVERNESS: Trans-Canada Highway 104
Trans-Canada Highway 104, from Trunk 4 at Auld's Cove to the Canso Causeway Canal Bridge, will be reduced to one lane for repairs from Monday to Friday, until Oct. 31. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and pilot vehicle. Motorists may encounter delays of up to 30 minutes. CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125
Highway 125 from Exit 6 at Sydney River to Grand Lake Road will have a lane closure 7 days per week for cold planing and repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work will start 7 p.m. each evening and finish at 6 a.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. on Sundays. CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Trunk 4
Trunk 4 (Sydney-Glace Bay Highway) from Reserve Mines to the Gardiner Highway intersection will have a full lane closure for cold planing and paving. An alternate route is available via Centerville Road. Work will start at 6 a.m. and finish at 7 p.m. on weekdays. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Folly River Bridge
Folly River Bridge on Trunk 4 will be undergoing deck replacement. Lane closures will be in effect between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily and on weekends as required. Vehicles exceeding the maximum load width of 3.5 metres, are asked to use exits 11 and 12. The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 30.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Route 289
Route 289 will be reduced to one lane for piping, ditching, cold planing and repaving from the Brookfield railway crossing, easterly 6.4 kilometres. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, flashing lights and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Brookside Road
Brookside Road, between Trans-Canada Highway 104 and Mountain Lee Road, will be reduced to one lane for pulverization, gravelling and repaving. Traffic control will consist of signs, flashing lights and traffic control persons. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

DIGBY COUNTY: Highway 101
The Bear River Bridge on Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane for repairs. Traffic control will be provided by traffic lights. The lane closure will be in effect 24 hours a day and is expected to end Oct. 11.

Aikens Bridge on the Afton Road will be closed to traffic to allow for bridge repair until Oct. 7. This will be a 24-hour-a- day closure. Access to Afton Road is available from North Riverside Road.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Canterbury Truss Bridge Canterbury Truss Bridge on Bellefontaine Road in Middle Porter's Lake will be closed until further notice. A detour is available on Route 207, Trunk 7 and Highway 107.

Highway 107, between Exit 21 and Trunk 7 at Musquodoboit Harbour, will be reduced to one lane for repaving. Traffic control will be provided by cones, barrels, flashing light units and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

About seven kilometres of Highway 207, between Ross Road and West Lawrencetown Road, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Oct. 31. Traffic control consist of cones, barrels and traffic control persons. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Enfield and Elmsdale
Section #1 - Wilson Road in Enfield from Alderney Drive to Daun Avenue will be reduced to one lane for road repairs.
Section #2 - Hemlock Drive in Elmsdale from Endale Drive to Civic #35, will be reduced to one lane for road repairs.
Work will completed by Oct. 31. Traffic control consist of control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Trunk 1, from Uniacke Mines Road to Lakelands-South Rawdon Road, will be reduced to one lane for stripping and repaving. Traffic control will consist of cones, barrels and traffic control persons. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge
Crews will be working this fall and winter on construction of the new Margaree Harbour Bridge, Inverness. Motorists using the current bridge should watch for ongoing construction activities in the area. The new bridge should be in service by December 2003. The removal of the old bridge should be completed by September 2004. Traffic will be delayed occasionally. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Trunk 19 in Judique, north of Sandy Gillis Bridge, will be reduced to one lane for upgrading, gravelling and repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19
Trunk 19 in Judique, from Mabou Bridge, northerly, will be reduced to one lane for upgrading, stripping and repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

KINGS COUNTY: Melanson Overpass
The Melanson Overpass on Highway 101 will be undergoing repairs until Oct. 11. Two lanes of through traffic will be maintained. Traffic will be slowed through the site. Traffic control consists of lane narrowing and signage. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Bridgewater
King Street North, between Victoria Road and Starr Street, will be closed to traffic to allow for bridge repair until Oct. 11. This is a 24-hour-a-day closure. A detour is available on Victoria Road or York or Starr Street.

PICTOU COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104 Westbound
The westbound lanes of Trans-Canada Highway 104 will have a lane closure for cold planing, repaving and bridge rehabilitation from the end of twinning east of Exit 25 to the Trans-Canada Highway 106 overpass, including ramps. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Oct. 18.

PICTOU COUNTY: West Branch Road
West Branch Road will have a lane closure for pulverization, gravelling, cold planing and repaving from Trunk 6 at River John to MacKay Road. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Oct. 11.

REGION OF QUEENS MUNICIPALITY: Petite Riviere Bridge
Petite Riviere Bridge, Route 331 will be closed for structural replacement and repairs effective immediately and until further notice. A detour is available by taking Wentzell or Petite Riviere Road.

Trunk 4, from St. Peter's to Soldiers Cove, will be reduced to one lane for repaving and patching. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work takes place between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
