Canterbury Bridge Closed

Canterbury Bridge on Bellefontaine Road in Middle Porters Lake, Halifax Regional Municipality, will be closed until further notice.

Department of Transportation and Public Works engineers will examine structural deficiencies uncovered in a recent inspection. Motorists are advised that detours are available on Route 207, Trunk 7 and Highway 107, depending on direction of travel.

Canterbury Bridge is a single-lane steel bridge about 37 metres long, with a timber approach at one end.
