NEW WORK

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Brookside Road

Brookside Road, between Trans-Canada Highway 104 and Mountain Lee Road, will be reduced to one lane for pulverization, gravelling and repaving. Traffic control will consist of signs, flashing lights and traffic control persons. Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Trunk 1

Trunk 1, from Uniacke Mines Road to Lakelands-South Rawdon Road, will be reduced to one lane for stripping and repaving. Traffic control will consist of cones, barrels and traffic control persons. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trunk 19

Trunk 19, north of Sandy Gillis Bridge, will be reduced to one lane for upgrading, gravelling and repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

Trunk 19, from Mabou Bridge northerly, will be reduced to one lane for upgrading, stripping and repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Trunk 4

Trunk 4, from St. Peter's to Soldiers Cove, will be reduced to one lane for repaving and patching. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work will take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Trunk 1

Trunk 1, between Bridgetown and Youngs Mountain Road, will be reduced to one lane for repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 13.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337

Route 337 will have lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving from 500 metres south of Mahoney's Beach Road, northerly four kilometres. The Ogden Brook Bridge will also be repaired. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle and traffic control persons. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

CAPE BRETON REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 125

Highway 125 from Exit 6, at Sydney River, to Grand Lake Road will have a lane closure for cold planing and repaving. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work will start at 7 p.m. each evening and finish at 6 a.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. on Sundays. The project is expected to be completed by Oct. 15.

Route 289 will be reduced to one lane for piping, ditching, cold planing and repaving from the Brookfield railway crossing, easterly 6.4 kilometres. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, flashing lights and a pilot vehicle. Work will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 366 (Tyndal Road)

Route 366, from Trunk 6 easterly eight kilometres, will be reduced to one lane for piping, ditching, gravelling and repaving. Work will take place between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 6.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Route 204

Route 204 will be reduced to one lane between Salem and Little River for gravelling, repaving and culvert replacements. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 27.

DIGBY COUNTY: Highway 101

The Bear River Bridge on Highway 101 will be reduced to one lane for repairs. Traffic control will be provided by traffic lights. The lane closure will be in effect 24 hours a day and is expected to end Sept. 27.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16

Trunk 16 will have lane closures for grading, pulverization and paving from Half Island Cove Road easterly towards Canso. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Delays between 15 to 20 minutes are expected. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 6.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Afton Road

The Aikens Bridge on Afton Road will have a weight restriction of five tonnes until further notice. An alternative route for truck traffic is available by taking Cross Road and North Riverside Road.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Antigonish-Guysborough Road

The Antigonish-Guysborough Road will be reduced to one lane between Glencoe Road and Heatherton Road for grading and gravelling. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 13.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 107

Highway 107, between Exit 21 and Trunk 7 at Musquodoboit Harbour, will be reduced to one lane for repaving. Traffic control will be provided by cones, barrels, flashing light units and a pilot vehicle. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

Trunk 7, between Spry Bay and Sheet Harbour, will be reduced to one lane for ditching and repaving. Traffic control will consist of cones, barrels, flashing light units and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 102

Highway 102, between Exit 9 and Exit 10, will be reduced to one lane for patching. Traffic control will consist of flashing lights, cones and a speed reduction through the construction zone. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 6.

PICTOU COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104 Westbound

The westbound lanes of Trans-Canada Highway 104 will have a lane closure for cold planing, repaving and bridge rehabilitation from the end of twinning east of Exit 25 to the Trans-Canada Highway 106 overpass, including ramps. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 27.

PICTOU COUNTY: West Branch Road

West Branch Road will have a lane closure for pulverization, gravelling, cold planing and repaving from Trunk 6 at River John to MacKay Road. Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 20.

PICTOU COUNTY: Plymouth Park Road

The Stellarton Church Bridge on Plymouth Park Road will be closed to traffic between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. Detour routes will be marked. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 6.

SHELBURNE COUNTY: Highway 103

Highway 103, between Sable River Bridge and Jordan Falls Bridge, will be reduced to one lane for resurfacing. Work will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 13.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 105

Seal Island Bridge will have a lane closure for deck replacement. Traffic control will consist of traffic lights. Work will take place 24 hours a day and is expected to be completed by Oct. 15.
