Tenders have been called for road work in Annapolis, Antigonish, Hants and Yarmouth counties and Halifax Regional Municipality.

The tender in Annapolis County is for grading, gravelling and paving of two sections:

Section 1: Balcolm Crescent, from Colonial Drive to the end of the road, about 0.2 kilometres.

Section 2: Colonial Drive, from Nictaux Road to Balcolm Crescent, about 0.1 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 29 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The tender in Antigonish County is for grading, gravelling and paving of Mountain View Drive, from Pleasant Valley Road, easterly about one kilometre.

This tender closes on Aug. 30 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The tender in Hants County is for paving of six sections:

Section 1: Valleyview Drive, from the end of the pavement to Wilewood Drive, about 0.2 kilometres.

Section 2: Avonview Drive, from Valleyview Drive, easterly about 0.2 kilometres.

Section 3: Avonview Court, from Valleyview Drive, westerly about 0.2 kilometres.

Section 4: Wilewood Drive, easterly about 0.16 kilometres, and Wilewood Drive, from Valleyview Drive, about 0.16 kilometres, totalling 0.32 kilometres.

Section 5: McDermid Drive, from the end of pavement to the end of the road, about 0.1 kilometres.

Section 6: Chelsea Court, from McDermid Drive, about 0.1 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 29 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The first tender in Yarmouth County is for repaving of various sections of Route 203, from Tusket River Bridge, easterly about 8.4 kilometres. The sections total five kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 30 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The second tender in Yarmouth County is for paving of two sections:

Section 1: Maple Drive, from Green Hills Drive to the end of the road, about 0.4 kilometres.

Section 2: Green Hills Drive, from Brooklyn Road to Maple Drive, about 0.2 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 30 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The first tender in Halifax Regional Municipality is for repaving of one section of Route 207, from Ross Road to West Lawrencetown Road, about 6.9 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 30 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The second tender in Halifax Regional Municipality is for paving of four sections:

Section 1: Windsor Drive (Stillwater Lake), from the end of the pavement to the cul-de-sac, about 0.9 kilometres.

Section 2: Oxford Court (Stillwater Lake), from Windsor Drive to the cul-de-sac, about 0.1 kilometres.

Section 3: Hage's Lane (Prospect), from Jamil's Road, about 0.9 kilometres.

Section 4: Jamil's Road (Prospect), from Selig Road to Hage's Lane, about 0.4 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 29 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The third tender in Halifax Regional Municipality is for the strengthening of the Musquodoboit Harbour truss bridge on Trunk 7.
