Tenders Called in Two Counties and Two Municipalities

TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Tenders Called in Two Counties and Two Municipalities


Tenders have been called for road work in Hants and Victoria counties and Cape Breton Regional and the Region of Queens municipalities.

The tender in Hants County is for pulverization, gravelling and repaving of Newport Station Road, from Trunk 14 to Trunk 1, about 2.8 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 16 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.


The tender in Victoria County is for cold planing and repaving of two sections of Trans-Canada Highway 105.

Section 1: From Exit 11 at St. Anns, westerly about 3.2 kilometres.

Section 2: From the Inverness County line, easterly about 3.3 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 16 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.


The tender in Cape Breton Regional Municipality is for cold planing and repaving of Trunk 4 (Sydney-Glace Bay Highway), from Gardiner Road to the end of the four lane section, about 2.9 kilometres.

This tender closes on Aug. 15 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.


The tender in the Region of Queens Municipality is for rehabilitation of Limestone Brook Bridge on Mill Village East Road.

This tender closes on Aug. 15 and work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
