Tenders Called in Four Counties

Tenders are being called for work in Colchester, Cumberland, Lunenburg and Shelburne counties.

The tender in Cumberland and Colchester counties is for the micro-surfacing of three sections.

Section 1: Westbound lanes of Trans-Canada Highway 104 from the end of micro-surfacing at Stewarts Brook, westerly to Fenwick Road, about seven kilometres.

Section 2: Westbound lanes of Trans-Canada Highway 104 from Exit 4 to the CNR structure between exits 3 and 2, including ramps at Exit 3 and the exit ramp at Exit 4, about 7.9 kilometres.

Section 3: Trunk 4 (Pictou Road) at Bible Hill, from Main Street to Vimy Road, about 0.8 kilometres.

This tender closes on July 11. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The tender in Lunenburg County is for bridge rehabilitation of three sections.

Section 1: Blysteiner Lake Underpass on Highway 103, about three kilometres east of Exit 12 (Bridgewater).

Section 2: Gold River Bridge on Trunk 3 at Gold River.

Section 3: East River Underpass on Highway 103 at Exit 7 (East River).

This tender closes on July 11. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.

The tender in Shelburne County is for repaving of one section of River Road, from Oak Park Road to Trunk 3, about 2.3 kilometres.

This tender closes on July 12. Work is expected to be completed by Oct. 31.
