NEW WORK

ANNAPOLIS COUNTY: Route 201

The Round Hill Bridge will be undergoing structural repairs. Traffic control will consist of signs. The bridge will be closed to loads greater than 21 tonnes. A detour is available on Highway 101 or Trunk 1 between Annapolis Royal and Bridgetown. Work is expected to be completed by July 15.

PICTOU COUNTY: Bridge Avenue

The Albion Mines Bridge over the East River will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs. Traffic control will consist of signals. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Aug. 15.

CONTINUING WORK

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104/Route 316

The intersection of Trans-Canada Highway 104 and Route 316, at Lower South River, will have occasional lane closures for subgrading, gravelling and paving until June 15. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337

Route 337 will have lane closures for upgrading, gravelling and repaving from 500 metres south of Mahoney's Beach Road, northerly four kilometres. The Ogden Brook Bridge will also be repaired. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle and traffic control persons. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Highway 102 Northbound

Highway 102 northbound will be reduced to one lane for repairs to the right shoulder between Exit 12 and Exit 13A. Traffic control will consist of signs and flashing lights. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by June 14.

GUYSBOROUGH COUNTY: Trunk 16

Trunk 16 from Half Island Cove Road towards Canso will have lane closures for grading, pulverization and asphalt paving until Aug. 31. One lane will be kept open at all times. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Delays between 15 to 20 minutes can be expected. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 102 Northbound

Work will consist of concrete deck repairs and shoulder work on the Lakeview Road overpass, Lakeview railroad overpass, Cobequid Road overpass and Waverley Road railroad overpass. Work is expected to be completed on Sept. 30 and takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 103

Little Indian Lake Bridge, Highway 103, will be reduced to one lane for bridge repairs until June 14. Traffic control will consist of traffic lights. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Highway 111

The eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 111 from Exit 6, Route 207, Portland Street, easterly to Route 322, Pleasant Street, including ramps at Portland Street, will be reduced to one lane for repaving until Aug. 2. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons, signs and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Route 277

Route 277, from Antrim Road at Carroll's Corner easterly to the Colchester County line at Gays River, will have a lane closure for ditching, culvert installation and paving until Aug. 31. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY: Various Roads

Regular shoulder repairs will be made to various highways in the Halifax Regional Municipality until June 14. The roads include the Bedford bypass; Highway 101, between Bedford and the Beaver Bank Connector; Beaver Bank Connector; and Highway 102, between Hammonds Plains Road and Duke Street. Motorists can expect delays from slow-moving equipment. Work takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 at Mount Uniacke will have traffic stopped in both directions for brief periods to allow for blasting. Blasting will occur until June 21. Work normally takes place from noon to 3 p.m.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 105

A climbing lane is being constructed on Trans-Canada Highway 105 at Exit 3 at River Denys Road. Motorists should proceed through the construction zone with caution. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Oakland Road

Oakland Road will have alternating lane closures for pulverizing and repaving until June 21. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle, barrels and traffic cones. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

LUNENBURG COUNTY: LaHave Ferry

The LaHave Ferry will be taken out of service at 12:01 a.m. on June 3 for its annual refit. Service is expected to resume on June 8.

PICTOU COUNTY: Trans-Canada Highway 104 Westbound

The westbound lanes of Trans-Canada Highway 104, from the end of twinning east of Exit 25 to the Trans-Canada Highway 106 overpass, including ramps, will have a lane closure for cold planing, repaving and bridge rehabilitation. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Sept. 14.

River Road, from the Springville Road to the end of the pavement, will have a lane closure for pulverization and paving. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Aug. 31.

West Branch Road, from Trunk 6 at River John to MacKay Road, will have a lane closure for pulverization, gravelling, cold planing and repaving. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and is expected to be completed on Aug. 31.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Highway 105, Seal Island Bridge

Seal Island Bridge will have a lane closure until Oct. 15 for deck replacement. Traffic control will consist of signals. Work will take place 24 hours a day.
