Cease and Desist Order

The Nova Scotia Labour Relations Board announced today, May 16, that it has taken action to end an illegal lockout which commenced on May 15.

The complaint filed today requests that the board issue a cease and desist order against 3000905 Nova Scotia Limited, doing business under the name and style of Jaspers Restaurant in Sydney River, and the Hotel Employees Restaurant Employees Union, Local 772.

An interim order has been issued by the board directing 3000905 Nova Scotia Limited to cease and desist in an illegal lockout.
