TRANSPORTATION/PUBLIC WORKS--Tenders Called in Two Municipalities and One County

Tenders are being called for work in Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Guysborough County and Halifax Regional Municipality.

The tender for Cape Breton Regional Municipality and Guysborough County is for crack filling and seal coat for two sections.

Section 1.0: Larry's River Road, from Route 316 at Larry's River, northerly towards Lundy, Guysborough Co., about 11.4 kilometres.

Section 2.0: Brickyard Road, from Mira Provincial Park to the Glace Bay/Catalone Road, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, about 5.6 kilometres.

This tender closes on May 23. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

One tender in Halifax Regional Municipality is for cold planing, full depth reclamation with expanded asphalt stabilization and asphalt concrete repaving. The work will take place on one section of Northwest Arm Drive, the eastbound lanes from Main Avenue in Fairview to Old Sambro Road in Spryfield and westbound lanes from Spryfield to Main Avenue, about 9.2 kilometres.

This tender closes on May 31. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The second tender in Halifax Regional Municipality is for full depth reclamation with expanded asphalt stabilization and asphalt concrete repaving. The tender is for one section of Route 333, from Mills Drive in Goodwood, southwesterly to Brookside Road, about 7.2 kilometres.

This tender closes on May 30. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
