Tenders Called in Four Counties

Tenders are being called for work in Antigonish, Hants, Inverness and Pictou counties.

The tender in Antigonish County is for surface preparation and protective coating for one section of the James River Bridge, on Trunk 4, about 0.2 kilometres west of the intersection on Mill Road and Trunk 4.

This tender closes on May 16. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The tender in Hants County is for construction of subgrade, grading and gravelling for one section of Highway 101 (eastbound lanes), from Stillwater Station Road to about one kilometre west of the railway overpass at Stillwater, about 5.4 kilometres.

This tender closes on May 17. The work is expected to be completed by March 31, 2003.

The tender in Inverness County is for bridge replacement and approaches for one section of Margaree Harbour Bridge: design/build replacement river bridge and approaches on the Cabot Trail and Route 219, about 1.2 kilometres.

This tender closes on May 30. The work is expected to be completed by Dec. 15.

The tender in Pictou County is for pulverization, cold planing, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving for one section of West Branch Road, from Trunk 6 at River John southerly to MacKay Road, about 6.2 kilometres.

This tender closes on May 16. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
