Tenders are being called for work in Colchester, Cumberland, Hants and Pictou counties and Halifax Regional Municipality.

The tender in Cumberland, Colchester and Pictou counties is for bridge rehabilitation on five sections of highway.

Section 1: Oxford underpass structure (Cumberland County); Highway 104 at Exit 6

Section 2: Albion Mines Bridge (Pictou County); Bridge Avenue over the East River, about 0.3 kilometres south of Exit 25 on Highway 104

Section 3: Blockhouse Bridge (Colchester County); Trunk 6, about 1.7 kilometres west of the Tattrie Road

Section 4: Gordon Creek Bridge (Cumberland County); Laplanche Street, about one kilometre south of Highway 104

Section 5: Wallace River Bridge (Cumberland County); Trunk 6 over Wallace River

This tender closes on April 18. The work is expected to be completed by Sept. 30.

The tender in Halifax Regional Municipality and Hants County is for surface preparation and protective coating in two sections.

Section 1: Little Indian Bridge (Halifax Regional Municipality) on Highway 103, about four kilometres west of Exit 5 at Little Indian Lake

Section 2: Garden Road Bridge (Hants County); on Garden Road, about two kilometres northwest of Exit 8 on Highway 102, near Elmsdale

This tender closes on April 18. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The tender in Hants County is for gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving for one section of New Ross Road, from Trunk 14 to Lunenburg County Line, about 8.7 kilometres.
