Moment of Silence Observed for Queen Mother

Members of the Nova Scotia legislature observed a moment of silence today to honour the life of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

"The Queen Mother will be remembered for her love of this country and the grace and dedication she showed to all people," said Premier John Hamm. "Throughout her life, she remained a symbol of courage and dignity, not only for the people of Britain but for everyone around the world."

Premier Hamm signed the book of condolences in honour of the Queen Mother today at Government House.

Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother died Thursday, March 30, at her home in Windsor Castle.
