No Conflict for Chief of Staff

Jamie Baillie, chief of staff to the premier, said today he consulted with Justice Merlin Nunn of the conflict of interest commission prior to joining the premier's office.

Mr. Nunn affirmed that Mr. Baillie was not in a position of conflict of interest, real or apparent, based on his withdrawal from the corporate activities of his previous employer.
