Learn about the Amazing World of Agriculture
AGRICULTURE/FISHERIES--Learn about the Amazing World of Agriculture
Nova Scotia farm animals will join monkeys, parrots, lizards and snakes from the Amazon rainforest this March break at the Museum of Natural History in Halifax.
From March 9-17, Hants County 4-H clubs and the Nova Scotia Agricultural Awareness Committee are featuring The Amazing World of Agriculture. The exhibit will include baby farm animals, a greenhouse, hatching chicks, commodity associations and hands-on activities that will help visitors discover the wonder of agriculture.
"This is a great opportunity for families to learn about agriculture and how we produce the good quality food we enjoy in Nova Scotia," said Ernest Fage, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The 4-H and Agriculture Awareness exhibit has something for everyone and promises to uncover the excitement and opportunities within the amazing world of agriculture. Call the Museum of Natural History at 902-424-7353 for more information.
