Tenders Called in Three Counties

Tenders are being called for work in Halifax, Queens and Yarmouth counties.

A tender is being called for work on five sections of highway in Halifax County. The work consists of bridge deck repairs, replacement of joints and asphalt concrete repaving.

Section 1.0: Highway 102, from the end of Jersey barrier northbound to the start of the new paving at Fall River, approximately 6.8 kilometres.

Section 2.0: Highway 102, Lakeview Road overpass structure, approximately 0.04 kilometres.

Section 3.0: Highway 102, Lakeview Railroad overpass structure approximately 0.04 kilometres.

Section 4.0: Highway 102, Cobequid Road overpass structure, approximately 0.05 kilometres.

Section 5.0: Highway 102, Waverly Road railroad overpass structure, approximately 0.04 kilometres.

This tender closes on Feb. 21. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The tender in Queens County is for cold planing and asphalt concrete repaving for one section of Highway 103, from St. Catherines River Road westerly to the Queens/Shelburne county line, approximately 6.6 kilometres.

This tender closes on Feb. 22. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.

The tender in Yarmouth County is for pulverization, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving for one section of Lake George Road, from Pitman Road northerly to Richmond Road, approximately 6.8 kilometres.

This tender closes on Feb. 22. The work is expected to be completed by Aug. 31.
