New Year's Day Levee

Lt.-Gov. Myra Freeman will receive the public at the annual New Year's Day levee at Government House, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 1.

Musical entertainment will be provided and families with children are welcome.

The exhibition -- Women Artists of the Nova Scotia Art Bank Collection: a 25-year Contribution to the Visual Arts -- will also be on display. The exhibit showcases contemporary works by women artists.

Government House is located at 1451 Barrington St., Halifax.
