CONTINUING WORK

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Bible Hill

Valley Dale Road will have partial closures of up to 30 minutes to erect girders on the New Valley Bridge until Dec 7. Traffic control is supplied. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 111 and Victoria Road Interchange

Highway 111 and the Victoria Road Interchange will have lane closures and alternating ramp closures for installation of 14 highmast lights, removal of existing lighting system and other associated work, from Nov. 19 to March 31, 2002. Ramp closures will alternate throughout the first few weeks. For the first four to six weeks, work will take place at various times during both the day and night. Detours are available on existing ramps. Work will not interfere with peak traffic flow.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 at Mount Uniacke will have traffic stopped in both directions for brief periods in order to allow blasting to take place. Blasting will occur until April 2002. Work takes place from 6 a.m to 7 p.m.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge

Margaree Harbour Bridge will be closed for repairs from Nov. 9 to Dec 7. Detours are available on the East Margaree and East Margaree Crossroads. The bridge will be closed 24 hours a day.
