NEW WORK

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 111 and Victoria Road Interchange

Highway 111 and the Victoria Road Interchange will have lane closures and alternating ramp closures for installation of 14 highmast lights, removal of existing lighting system and other associated work, from Nov. 19 to March 31, 2002. Ramp closures will alternate throughout the first few weeks. For the first four to six weeks, work will take place at various times during both the day and night. Detours are available on existing ramps. Work will not interfere with peak traffic flow.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Margaree Harbour Bridge

Margaree Harbour Bridge will be closed for repairs from Nov. 9 to Dec. 7. Detours are available on the East Margaree and East Margaree crossroads. Bridge will be closed 24 hours a day.

CONTINUING WORK

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Bible Hill

Valley Dale Road will have partial closures of up to 30 minutes to erect girders on the New Valley Bridge until Nov 30. Traffic control is supplied. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Highway 101

Highway 101 at Mount Uniacke will have traffic stopped in both directions for brief periods in order to allow blasting to take place. Blasting will occur until April 2002. Work takes place from 6 a.m to 7 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Windsor

Parker Bridge on Woodville Road will be closed for bridge repairs until until Nov. 23. Detours available on McKay Road, Clayton McKay and Ashdale Road. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

INVERNESS COUNTY: Port Hawkesbury

Trunk 19 from Campbell Road, northerly about 3.6 kilometres, will have a one-lane closure for pulverization, widening, gravelling and asphalt paving until Nov. 23. Traffic control consists of flag persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: MacLellan's Brook

Eureka Bridge on East River West Side Road will be closed until Nov. 17 for bridge repairs. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes. The bridge is closed 24 hours a day.

VICTORIA COUNTY: Seal Island Bridge, Baddeck

One lane will remain open on the Seal Island Bridge, also known as the Great Bras d'Or Bridge, while crews conduct deck replacement work. The work will take place until Nov. 23. Traffic control will consist of traffic lights.
