Delay in Report of Non-Resident Land Ownership Task Force

VOLUNTARY PLANNING BOARD--Delay in Report of Non-Resident Land Ownership Task Force

The Voluntary Planning Board announced today that the Task Force on Non-resident Land Ownership will not issue its final report by the end of November as originally scheduled.

The board of directors decided to delay the release of the report to schedule time to fully review it.

"The board's approval of any task force work is required prior to final release of reports," said Jim Eisenhauer, chair of Voluntary Planning.

In this case, due to scheduling challenges, the board could not accommodate a November time line. It has asked the task force to delay issuing the final report to government and the citizens of Nova Scotia, possibly by several weeks.
