Chester Hearing to Reconvene

The Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board will reconvene a hearing into the incorporation of Municipal Polling District 3 of the Municipality of the District of Chester as a town.

The hearing will take place on Monday, Oct. 15 at 9 a.m. in the board's hearing room, 3rd floor Summit Place, 1601 Lower Water St., Halifax.

This hearing is to deal with evidence on whether town status would lead to an increase in the need for, or the cost of, police services for the area proposed for the new town.

The hearing is open to the public.
