Tenders Called in Two Counties

Tenders are being called for work in Kings and Pictou counties.

The tender for Kings County, which was called Sept. 19, is for asphalt concrete repaving in one section on Route 221. Work will take place from Route 359 westerly to Rockwell Mountain Road. This tender will encompass a distance of about 2.7 kilometres.

This tender closes on Oct. 4. The work is expected to be completed by Nov. 15.

The tender in Pictou County, which was called today, Sept. 20, is for bridge rehabilitation in one section on the Eureka Mills bridge. This bridge is located on the East River West Side Road, about .45 kilometres east of the intersection with the Stellarton/Trafalgar Road.

This tender closes on Sept. 27. The work is expected to be completed by Nov. 17.
