Cease and Desist Order, Easco Electric

The Construction Industry Panel of the Labour Relations Board announced that it has taken action to end an illegal work stoppage that began today, Aug. 30. The work stoppage involves a number of employees of Easco Electric Limited who are represented by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 625. They were working at the Halifax Shopping Centre Annex.

The complaint filed today requests the panel to issue a cease and desist order against the workers who are participating in the illegal work stoppage.

An interim order has been issued by the panel directing the workers to cease and desist and to return to work at their next regularly scheduled shift.
