PICTOU COUNTY: Abercrombie Road, New Glasgow

Work on Abercrombie Road scheduled for Aug. 8 and Aug. 9 is postponed. Abercrombie Road will now be closed to traffic on Aug. 16 and Aug. 17. A detour is available on the Trenton Connector and Trans-Canada Highway 106. Work consists of repairs to the rail crossing at the truck entrance to Kimberly Clark Paper Mill. The road will be closed for 24 hours a day beginning at 7 a.m., Aug 16.
