Trunk #10 from North River Road to the Lunenburg/Queens County line will have an alternating lane closure for pulverizing, gravelling and asphalt concrete paving from July 23 to Aug 17. Traffic control will consist of a pilot vehicle and traffic control persons. Work takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

PICTOU COUNTY: MacLellan's Brook
Upper Stellarton Church Bridge on Plymouth Park Road will be closed for repairs and maintenance from July 23 to Aug 3. There will be no through traffic on Plymouth Park Road. Traffic control will consist of a municipal barricade. The public is asked to find alternative routes. Bridge will be closed for 24 hours a day.

QUEENS COUNTY: Highway 103, Liverpool
Highway 103 at West Street will have four closures of 10 minutes each as Nova Scotia Power Inc. will be hauling lines across this area on July 26. Motorists should detour through Town of Liverpool if they do not wish to wait for 10-minute delay. Traffic control will consist of traffic control persons. Work takes place from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.

ANTIGONISH COUNTY: Route 337
Route 337 will have a one-lane closure, northerly, for 6.6 km from Antigonish town line for seal-coating and crack filling from July 16 to July 31. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Highway 125, Sydney River, Balls Creek
Highway 125 will have one-lane closures for micro-surfacing until July 31. Motorists are asked to use caution and expect delays. Traffic control consists of a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

CAPE BRETON COUNTY: Trunk 4, Big Pond
Big Pond Trunk 4 from Loch Lomond Road to Glen Albert Road is under construction for upgrading, cold planing, gravelling and asphalt concrete repaving until Oct. 31. There are traffic control and construction signs. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Painting will take place on Red Bridge until Aug. 3. A detour is available on Brendon Cross Road. The Brendon Cross Road bridge is now open.

The Stewiacke River Bridge, northbound, 4.8 km north from Hants County line, will have alternating lane closures for bridge rehabilitation until Sept. 31. Traffic control consists of Jersey barrier, drums and flashing lights. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends as required.

Mines-Bass River Road is closed due to culvert wash-out and collapse. The detour on Mines-Bass River Road is expected to remain in effect until Aug. 31.

The Hanson Bridge at Little Forks River will have alternating lane closures for bridge surface preparation and protective coating until July 24. Traffic control consists of flashing lights, signs and traffic control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends as required.

DIGBY COUNTY: Highway 101, Joggins Bridge
Joggins Bridge on Highway 101 will have a one-lane closure for bridge deck repairs until July 27. Work takes place from daylight to dark, seven days a week.

The Mill Creek Bridge on Reddy's Hill Road will be closed to traffic for repair until July 31. Detour on Trunk 16 and North Riverside. The bridge will be closed 24 hours a day. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

One lane will be closed on Trunk 16 from 0.6 km north of Lower Salmon River Bridge and southerly toward Half Way Cove until July 31. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

HALIFAX COUNTY: Highway 102, Aerotech Interchange, Exit 5 to Highway 118
Highway 102, southbound lanes, from the Aerotech Interchange, Exit 5 to Highway 118 will have a one-lane closure for asphalt patching and paving until July 31. Traffic control is provided. Delays to be expected. Public urged to use alternate routes if possible. Work takes place from 9 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Highway 102, southbound lanes, from Exit 5 at Fall River to Exit 4B at the Bedford/Sackville Interchange will have a one-lane closure for micro-surfacing until to Aug. 31. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons, cones, flashing lights and barrels. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Highway 102, between the 103 overpass and the Hammonds Plains exit, will have a one-lane closure for asphalt repaving until Aug. 1. Expect 10- to 20-minute delays. Work takes place from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hyde's Bridge on Route 277 will be closed to traffic for steel bridge painting from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, until Aug. 10. Detour via Old Trunk Road and Trunk 2.

Highway 102, overpass bridge will have two narrow lanes open during bridge repairs until July 31. Detour on Trunk 14. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Elmsdale Road underpass structure Highway 102, Exit 8, is under construction for bridge rehabilitation. Lanes will be reduced to three metres until Oct. 15. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Halfway River overpass structure, Highway 101 at Exit 8, will have a continuing lane closure for concrete repair and asphaltic plug joints until Aug. 15. Traffic control consists of traffic signals. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HANTS COUNTY: Route 236, Georgefield Road, Lattie's Brook
Georgefield Road, from Route 236 at Lattie's Brook, southerly to the East Hants Landfill, will have a one-lane closure for various road work until Aug. 31. Traffic control consists of traffic control persons or a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KINGS COUNTY: Benjamin Culverts, Black River Road, New Minas
One section of Black River Road will be closed for Benjamin culvert replacements from July 15 to Sept 15. Detour by way of Gaspereau River Road and White Rock Road. Work takes place 24 hours a day.

KINGS COUNTY: Cornwallis River Bridge
Repairs to the Cornwallis River Bridge in Kentville will take place until Aug. 1. One sidewalk is closed and the bridge is reduced to one lane as required. Work takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

KINGS COUNTY: Highway 101, Three Sections
Beginning July 11, there will be alternating lane closures for three sections of micro-surfacing. One section is from Exit 15 at Berwick, westerly 10 km. The second starts 2 km west of Exit 10 at Hortonville and runs westerly 2 km. The third section runs from Exit 17E to Exit 17W for 2 km. The expected completion date is Aug. 20. Traffic control consists of control persons and pilot vehicles. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The False Bay Bridge, 0.5 km east of the Trans-Canada Highway 104/Trunk 4 overpass will have a one-lane reduction until Aug. 15 for bridge rehabilitation. Traffic control consists of signing and periodic control by control persons. Work takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Highway 104, Lower River Road, Port Hawkesbury
Highway 104 will have a one-lane closure for two sections from Lower River Road toward St. Peters. The first section is for 6.9 km and the second section is for 2.7 km. Work is expected to be completed by Aug. 30. Traffic control consists of control persons and a pilot vehicle. Work takes place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Crews will be painting the Seal Island Bridge on Trans-Canada Highway 105 until late fall until Aug. 31, the bridge may have one lane closed for a maximum of three hours per day. The closure will take place during non-peak hours. Traffic control consists of control persons or traffic lights.
